The Australian travel company, P&O Cruises recently announced the release of their official travel iPad app in the coming weeks.

After staying active in their Facebook, Twitter and other social network website accounts, P&O Cruises will be extending their digital campaign farther as they particularly focus in their mobile marketing at this time of the year.  The app is currently developed for travel agents, exisitng P&O Cruise clients, and objectively for potential customers worldwide.

Senior VP Jenny Lourey of P&O Cruises's operator Carnival Australia says, "Cruising in Australia is a dynamic industry that is growing by almost 20 per cent a year – so we’re keen to find new and exciting ways to reach past and future passengers." "This new iPad app allows travel agents and passengers to learn more about the P&O Cruises’ fleet and upcoming voyages than ever before, really bringing to life the cruise experience – and all at the touch of a screen."

The app is said to allow on-board experience to its users inside the different P&O Cruises fleet ships. At a touch, pan, and tap of your iPad screens, you can access straight to an interactive cruise environment exactly like you're cruising already. The app complements their traditional print borchure but only better with its multi-media features. It will immerse you in their interactive deck plan tours with a full 360-degree view of restaurants, cabins, kid's play areas, lobbies, and entertainment lounges. Furthermore, the app is said to show its users essential cabin information such as locations, price, amenities, and room layout.

Additionally, the P&O Cruises makes sure that their app provides every information their target market will be needing. They reportedly mentioned that the app will have click-through information on departures, destinations and shore tours.

Lourey adds that they will be enforcing wide sales promotions demonstrating to public how this app operates all around Australia.
