Interested in 3D Product Photography? Here are some topics you need to know about.

3D Photo Camera and Companies

Taking your own 3D photos is easy if one has a high definition camera handy.  Remember, your goal is to showcase your products in a different stationary perspective.  The following are highly recommended:

  • Sony DSC-TX9 and DSC-WX5. Sony has been mass producing the smallest 3D cameras in the world.  These cameras have single lenses but works in sweeping motion.  Although one should a 3D television compatible, these cameras will allow you see panoramic 3D photos with the aid of 3D-compatible HDMI cables together with 3D glasses.
  • Shining3D XL3DC-M1 Camera. This high resolution camera is built specifically for face modelling.  Its maximum vision area is 640 x 480mm for 1 to two persons. Photo resolution is 8.2-14 mega pixels.

Products in 3D

Most people shop for things online. Studies show almost 80 percent of shoppers would rather shop online than anywhere else. However, that same study concluded that a strong percentage of shoppers file for product returns to business owners. This is highly likely due to poor product presentation. If you fall in any of these categories then you are highly recommended to use this technology to improve sales ratio and outstanding referrals online.

  • Clothing.
  • Computers
  • Detailing Products – Automobile
  • Real Estate
  • Industrial
  • Electronics

Believe it or not, years from now all business owners will want and need this technology at the same time.

3D Picture software

Best 3D Animation Software is the Maya. Owned by Autodesk now, this most preferred software by most professionals has the most features and the easiest interface. Artists are grateful for the software’s extensive shading, and lighting effects. Character rendering and animation are both user friendly with Maya.

Other 3D Imaging software includes Poser and 3Ds Max.
