Lesson 04 - Color Change

We complete color change on products for our clients and here are two techniques you can use to change the color in your photo.

 

1. Open the image to work on
2. Go to "Image –> Adjustments –> Replace Color..."
3. Click on the part of the image where you want the color to be changed
4. On the right side of Hue, set to desired color, here I’m going to use red.
5. Click on the "Add to sample" button on the upper part of the window.
6. Click on the image where its not yet converted to red.
7. Adjust Hue, Saturation and Lightness until you get the desired color.
8. Press OK.

Or you can also this other color change technique:

1. Not all images can be change color with the use of replace color tool. This is another technique for change color.
2. Open the image to work on.
3. Ctrl + U for Hue/Saturation.
4. Adjust the Hue, Saturation and Lightness to obtain the color you want. Here I’m going to change color into powder blue.
5. You may also check the colorize check box on the lower right side of the window if you find it suitable to use.
6. Save you work.
