Audi is one of those cars you have on your “If I Get Rich” list. It is one of those cars you wish to drive and be in one day. Thanks to Audi’s State of Mind 360 degree 3D Campaign that dream of yours will no longer be just a dream anymore. Audi’s 3D campaign back in 2011 launched the famous dream Audi A8 L in India. It has won several awards one of which is the most prestigious Media Grand Pix at Spike Asia. Other awards includes Top Gold in Auto Category, Silver for Online Advertising Category, and Silver for Best Integrated Campaign Category. What’s interesting about this interactive campaign is that online users are transported into this immersive Audi world where they can freely explore and navigate Audi cars. This freedom includes a 360 degree view of the exterior, night vision assistance, in depth navigation in 3D into the rear seat executive package, panoramic glass roof, rear seat entertainment, LED technology, MMI with MMI touch and so much more. To fully enjoy this adventure, Audio has included custom made Audio anaglyphic 3D glasses with 3D car brochure as viewer’s guide. Or you can easily download Audi’s 360 degree iPad application.
Audi 360 degree 3D campaign is a by-product of Audi India’s impressive growth of 110% from January to May of last year. They sold no more than 2,000 cars in relative to their 2010 sales of 967 cars. According to the head of Audi India, Michael Perschke, “They are the fastest growing brand in the Indian luxury car segment. They have a strong recall value among their customers pan India. Their award winning and progressive 3D promotion is in accordance with the capabilities of their flagship model in setting new standards through its high-end characteristics.”
